Description
Soda ash dense, also known as sodium carbonate, is a white, odorless powder with the chemical formula Na₂CO₃. It is used in many industries, including glass, paper, and detergents: Glass: Soda ash dense is often used in glass manufacturing because its particles are similar in size to silica sand, which allows for better mixing of raw materials. Pulp and paper: Soda ash dense is used as a strong chemical base in the production of pulp and paper. Textiles: Soda ash dense is used in the production of textiles. Drinking water: Soda ash dense is used in the production of drinking water. Soaps and detergents: Soda ash dense is used in the production of soaps and detergents. Drain cleaner: Soda ash dense can be used as a drain cleaner. Soda ash dense is produced from natural sources like trona ore or brine solutions that are rich in sodium carbonate. It can also be produced synthetically from salt and limestone through the Solvay process. Soda ash dense has a higher bulk density and larger particle size than soda ash light. This makes it more cost-effective and easier to handle, especially during transportation and storage.
